A hand-sculpted, thin and very soft sustainable wool felt hat. Probably the highest quality wool felt that can be found out there, that resembles beaver fur. It is strengthened to shape with our naturally developed hat stiffener, no PVA products used in our studio.
The pattern of the crown had been developed as I wished to achieve an asymmetrical diamond shape. I named it Carlitos after I sold this particular hat at a music festival, where at the end of the festival I had some time to listen to the last bands, and somehow the name Carlos came to my mind (might had been a member of a band playing, I can’t remember), and gave me a very happy feeling.
While this hat is sold, I can make this shape again, in different colour if you wish or even in different material. Please get in touch about enquiries.
The final adjustment of ribbon and size will be customised.
